collectionpotFund-raising in these times is always a challenging subject, however we are constantly amazed and gratified how local people and businesses are happy to put their hands in their pockets to support our vital service.

This has never been more evident in these early months of 2014 when we have not only fullfilled our core purpose - to search for vulnerable high risk missing people, but also working with Thames Valley Police, Berkshire and Surrey Fire Services and local Councils with the terrible flooding in our County. From rescuing people from their homes to filling sandbags, our volunteers have been there.

In between call outs our volunteers support our fund-raising efforts: this includes shaking buckets at local supermarkets and garden centres and having stalls at a school fetes. We additionally provide first aid, road closures and marshalls at many of the local events in Berkshire which helps raise money and provides a much needed professional service.

justtextgivingOrganisations such as the Rotary Club and Thames Valley Police also make donations to us and last year we were the Mayor of Bracknell's chosen charity which raised both our profile and enough funds to kick start our water & flood rescue project which has been in action recently. We are grateful to the schools and businesses who choose us as their annual charity.

This year, 2014, we are raising funds to support our water rescue project as well as a brand new Mountain Bike Search Team that can cover large distances very quickly as many missing persons are found on or near roads and footpaths. We are in the process of raising much needed funds for such items as bike safety lights and Hi-Viz bike jackets.

As always, any amount however small makes a difference to us and donating is easy via our website or our EasyFundraising page by clicking here. Even easier is our JustGiving text donation service on the right. Or you can use If you are a taxpayer, we can claim gift aid on your donation. Many thanks.
