We are urgently seeking a new base
Berkshire Lowland Search and Rescue (BLSAR) is facing a critical challenge. Our current base is under threat due to planned redevelopment of the site. To continue supporting Thames Valley Police and saving lives across Berkshire, we urgently need a new operational base.
We’re looking for low-cost or donated space anywhere within Berkshire that can provide:
- Ideally located in central Berkshire
- Secure space for 3–4 rescue vehicles and a rescue boat
- Storage for vital rescue and medical equipment
- A training and meeting room for 40+ volunteers
- A small office or workspace
- A kitchenette or small kitchen area
Having a central, secure, and accessible base is essential for our 24/7 emergency response operations.

As a Search & Rescue team we have a lot of skills that could be useful for your events.
We provide a wide variety of services from medical cover (first aid and above) through to marshalling and stewarding. We have been supporting public events in Berkshire for many years and would love to talk to you about yours.
