BERKSHIRE LOWLAND SEARCH & RESCUE
Berkshire Lowland Search and Rescue (BLSAR) is the official search and rescue team supporting Thames Valley Police in Berkshire. Operated entirely by highly trained volunteers, we specialise in searching for high-risk missing persons, including vulnerable adults and children, across urban, rural, and remote environments. We also support Royal Berkshire Fire & Rescue Service (RBFRS) with our drone and water rescue capabilities, assisting in incidents such as water-related emergencies and major incidents.
Available 24/7, 365 days a year, our team deploys specialist search resources, including:
-
Foot search teams
-
Swift water rescue and flood response units
-
Thermal imaging drones and aerial search support
As a registered charity, 100% of donations go directly toward essential life-saving equipment, training, and operational support.
