Sometimes even rescuers need rescuing and we are urgently looking for a new ‘home’ in the Central / East Berks area.
Ideally this would be somewhere where we could securely store our 4 vehicles and equipment and that can hold 30-40 people for the occasional indoor meeting, plus with a small office area. If you know of somewhere, please let us know by contacting secretary@berkshirerescue.org.uk
Although all our members are volunteers, whom in turn meet their own fuel and equipment costs, we have many ongoing costs to equip house and run our operation. Including fuel for our vehicles, rent and replacement equipment and supplies, just to name a few. We receive NO statutory funding; we rely solely on charitable donations and fundraising. We are a registered UK charity – no: 1202260.
We never charge anyone for our Search & Rescue emergency services.

As a Search & Rescue team we have a lot of skills that could be useful for your events.
We provide a wide variety of services from medical cover (first aid and above) through to marshalling and stewarding.
